Recently, I have had the opportunity to work as an interpreter in several places. Sometimes in a formal context such as a court hearing, which requires a knowledge of judicial terms and a thorough grasp of the case’s subject matter and sometimes for small or larger groups at lectures or courses, where the focus is more on the interaction between conversation partners and the neutral attitude of the interpreter. I welcome the trust of these various clients and the opportunity to further develop my skills as an interpreter.
